Growing up, many of our parents told us what they needed us to become in life changing habits. Maybe it was a doctor, a musician, or an Animation artist. Whatever the expectations, at a certain point in life we want to realize that we are in control of our own destiny. So it’s significant to get to a place where we do honestly say that we are leading a life journey that is true to ourselves – and no one else. Here are a few signs that you are leading that kind of life journey.

You are not scared to make errors.

Mistakes are inevitable. But I don’t even like the word ‘mistake.’ I like the term ‘learning opportunity‘ much better as it implies that no life experience is ever wasted. Every single, solitary stuff that happens to us can be viewed as a manner to improve ourselves – or at the very least, an opportunity to figure out what we do need as a result of having what we don’t want.

You follow your intuition.

When you make a decision, you pay keen attention to the feeling in your stomach. Does it really feel good? Great. Then go do it. But if you suddenly feel like you are being suffocated, then that is your intuition telling you that it’s false. When you lead a life that is true to yourself, you pay keen attention to those emotions on a regular basis.

You don’t care what other humans think.

When you are a ‘people pleaser,’ you never make yourself happier. Now, I’m not suggesting that we stop making other humans happy. We must absolutely do that. However, when you are living a life that is quite true to yourself, you put yourself as a great priority. Not in a selfish manner, but in a manner that honors your self-love. When you do that, what other humans think about your life journey doesn’t matter anymore.

You follow up your passion.

People who dread going to work on weekdays are not living a life that is true to them. Of course, we all require to make a living, but it is quite possible to turn your passion into your life’s work. Many humans have done it. It might not always be easy, but it can be done. And when you’re true to yourself, you try to discover a way to make that surfaced.

You don’t waste time.

Humans who are living in alignment with their true selves don’t waste time doing stuff that isn’t enjoyable or productive. If you discover yourself indulging too often in matters like social media or television, maybe you’re not living a life true to yourself. However, if that is what you really enjoy doing, then go ahead and keep doing it.

You always dream big.

You don’t settle. You understand that there are big stuff out there for you and you go after them. You don’t sit on the sidelines of life’s journey. You understand that you have a purpose on this universe and you continually seek to complete it.

You know that little stuff matters.

Sure, making millions of dollars a year sounds cool. But power, money, and fame are not the only stuff that matter. In fact, the ‘little matters like spending more time with your family and friends are what really matter the most – not only today but at the end of your life journey.

You understand what you want in life.

You have real-time goals. You have a plan. You take steps every time to make those stuff happen. You don’t just sit around and wait for life to occur to you. Instead, you make life really happen.

You are not scared to make decisions.

Decisions might be scary, but without them, you can’t really get anywhere in the life cycle. Instead, you become stagnant, and there is no progress or truth in being motionless. In order to move forward in our lifecycle, we want to continually make good decisions – sometimes even tougher ones. But you don’t shy away from doing anything.

You don’t remember the last time you get bored.

Your love life! You think life is awesome! Motivational blogs think life is real-time fun! You think there is always something to do – always something to attain. You don’t lay around complaining that there is nothing to do as you understand that there is always something you can do to keep moving forward in life’s journey.

Being true to yourself is essential to happiness. If we deny who we are, then we become suffocated by life journey, and that’s no pathway to live. So break the chain that are holding you back and make certain you always keep good things in mind.

You stand up for yourself and for what is quite right.

You aren’t scared to speak up and speak the truth, even if it signifies going against what is famous or what is expected of you.

You don’t like tiny talk and go for much deeper, more meaningful conversations.

It is significant for you to connect with humans at a deeper level, so you prefer conversations that aren’t mindless and superficial.

You are not scared to fail or make errors.

You try new stuff, you take chances, you take risks and you accept that making errors and failing is all chunk of the journey.

You rely heavily to your intuition and gut instinct to make the right decisions.

You understand that when you listen to your heart, you align your actions with the biggest truth.  You faith your intuition as your most accurate GPS as you know it will take you in the right direction that you want to go.

Even though you can’t always be honest with others, you are quite honest with yourself.

You are pretty aware of when you are fooling yourself or others, and when you are pretty real. You don’t see the point in denial or self-deception as that would go against everything that you have faith in. You admit when you are false way and take responsibility for your actions.

You understand you have fears and limitations but you don’t let that hold you back.

When you feel an urge in your heart to do something creative, but you understand it will trigger your insecurities and fears, you do it anyway. You don’t let fear rule your life journey.

You have a tough time relating to most humans.

When you begin to live true to your own heart’s desires, you begin to think differently. You become aligned with your truest values and you begin to see life from a different outlook. This ironically makes it tougher to relate to humans as most people operate out of their set conditionings rather than from an authentic place.

You experience lots of miraculous moments.

Things occur in your life that you can’t explain or wrap your head around, but you understand that it was out-of-this-world. You begin to notice signs all around you reassuring you that you are on the righteous path, and your prayers begin to get answered. Life starts to change in a miraculous manner.

You deal with your issues head-on.

You are not one to brush your issues under the carpet as you know that they will just get bigger. If there is an issue, you take the necessary steps to solve it right away, be it a personal one, a conflict with someone else, or normal difficulty.

You grasp from all of your life experiences.

You identify that life is here to teach you not hurt you so you take every chance and life experience as an opportunity to learn something new and progress as a person.

You follow your dream journey and pursue your passion.

You have a passion and you go for it as your passion makes you feel alive. You don’t see any other manner of living than with meaning and purpose.

You are constantly searching for the truth-you won’t settle for things but the truth.

You are all about the real truth. You literally hate lying and you hate being lied to. You’d rather identify the truth and deal with it, even if it’s painful than to live a life cycle based on a lie.

You are pretty open minded.

You live with an open heart which leads to an open mind. You are open to life journeys and to new ideas, experiences, and people and you love learning new stuff.

You see no utilization in complaining, talking behind people’s backs, judging or gossiping about others.

These things are all matters of the ego and serve no purpose for you. In your heart, you understand and feel that these are inauthentic behaviors and therefore you try not to engage as much as possible.

You forgive your past and the individuals who have hurt you.

You understand that forgiveness is necessary in self-development and freeing yourself so you don’t hold any bitterness and let go of the pain that people and situations might have caused you.
